The 3600 dpi high-definition resolution description is what made me purchase this brand. You will read reviews of these types of film negative scanners where the customers didn't think the results were very good. Putting the digital images into a photo editing program is required, one with precise one click auto-correct. After that, the digital images this machine creates can match those photo prints you had made years ago from the negatives.
The Cobra gives you the choice of higher or lower resolution. By default, each time you turn the machine on, the resolution is set for the lower. You'd want to make sure each time to go into the menu and set it for the maximum.
