a very useful device for any one has a lot off cards and want to get the info quickly,
as a mac user i found it very easy and works just right with my system, plus the design as well is similar to mac products with a nice case to protect.
the application world card comes with the scanner is very easy and you can put all your contacts under it and use it as address book.
i am glad that i got this scanner.

It is such a convenience that this unit is compatible with Mac OS & Windows. However it only support Intel-based Mac. Luckily, I am using Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Very simple and scan directly to Mac address book. Fast scanning speed and portability due to its palm size, make it easy to travel with. It recognizes 20 languages, very useful for users like me who receive different language business cards all the time, from all over the places. Highly recommend to all Mac users. (and Win users as well)

I can't really provide any functionality user feedback, since once it arrived I learned it will only work with Intel-based Macs. Now I have to incur the trouble and expense of returning it. Amazon should add this important detail to the product description. So if you have a PowerPC Mac, look elsewhere.

I keep it short: the hardware doesn't feed the card thru proper, the scan comes out half black and even if it gets it thru it always appears cricked. The recognition worked surprisingly well, but the rest of the software needs much improvement! No syncing with address book (only export, changes in contacts in the software will add a duplicate rather than changing the original entry), you can make groups but can't export those to address book, too many steps involved to extract the images, no note field to add comments... nothing good to say about the software!
I sent it back and just ordered the CardScan executive for mac... hope that works better!
